Teammates was born out of frustration – a frustration we believe many share in today's AI-hyped world.
We were tired of the endless parade of flashy AI demos that promised the moon but failed to deliver in real-world scenarios. We'd seen enough smoke and mirrors to last a lifetime. What we craved was AI that actually worked – consistently, reliably, and with the level of trust required for critical business operations.
At the same time, we were drowning in tedious work. Despite all the promises of automation and AI, we found ourselves still bogged down in repetitive tasks that seemed to multiply endlessly. We knew there had to be a better way.
But perhaps most of all, we were tired of waiting. Waiting for others to build the solutions we needed. Waiting for the gap between AI hype and reality to close. Waiting for someone to create AI that could truly think, reason, and adapt like a human colleague.
So, we decided to build it ourselves.
Founded in 2024, Teammates emerged from this perfect storm of frustration and determination. We set out to create AI teammates that weren't just demos or proofs of concept, but robust, reliable partners in getting work done. We wanted to build something that would free us – and others like us – from the drudgery of repetitive tasks, allowing us to focus on what truly matters in our work and lives.
Our journey hasn't been easy, but it's been driven by a simple yet powerful idea: What if we could create AI teammates that work alongside humans, enhancing our capabilities, earning our trust, and empowering us to achieve more than we ever thought possible?
